What this is

ImportWindow publishes computed information about vehicle import rules. It is an information service. It is not legal advice, customs advice, or a guarantee that any vehicle will be admitted to any country.

Accuracy

Rules change, and production records are imperfect. Every page shows the date its sources were retrieved. Before purchasing or shipping a vehicle you must confirm eligibility with a registered importer or the relevant agency. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of information published here.

Reports and the Proof Pack

Paid products are built from the same data as the free pages, with the sources and retrieval dates included. The Build Date Proof Pack is delivered as a download at the time of purchase. The import eligibility report is personalised to your vehicle, so it is prepared after you send us your build details and normally returns by email within 12 hours.

Who you are buying from

The sale itself is made by Gumroad, Inc., which acts as the merchant of record. They take payment, issue your receipt, and are responsible for collecting and remitting any sales tax or VAT due in your country. Your card statement will show their name, not ours. We supply the product; they sell it to you.

Your details

To prepare a report we need the vehicle details you send us and an email address to return it to. We use them for that and nothing else. We do not sell them, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask. Payment details never reach us — Gumroad handles those and we never see your card.
