How to reach us, and what to include so we can actually help.
A real person reads every message. Most replies go out within a few hours, and never longer than one working day.
What to put in it
- A question about a specific car — tell us the model, the chassis or VIN if you have it, and the build date you have been given, along with where that date came from. That last part is the one people leave out and it is usually the one that matters.
- Waiting on a report — your order number. If it has been more than 24 hours since you sent your vehicle details, check your spam folder first, then write to us; something has gone wrong and we want to know.
- A refund — your order number, and nothing else. You do not have to give a reason. See refunds.
- A correction — what is wrong and, if you have it, the source that shows it. This is the most useful message you can send us; see below.
Corrections are worth more to us than sales
If a production date on this site is wrong, we would rather know than keep the money. Every date here is checked against manufacturer archives, recall notices and registry records, and a handful are still marked unverified with a visible warning — because guessing would be worse. If you hold a factory certificate, a build plate photograph, or a dated record that contradicts something we publish, send it. We will correct the data for everyone and refund you if you bought a report that relied on it.
Payment and billing
Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Gumroad, Inc., who issues your receipt and handles card matters. Their name, not ours, is what appears on your statement. For anything about the charge itself you can contact them directly — but write to us too, because we would like to know.
What we cannot do
We are not customs brokers, importers or lawyers, and we do not clear vehicles. This site publishes the rules and the dates they turn on, with the government source for every answer. Deciding whether to buy or ship a particular car is yours to make, ideally with a registered importer who can see the vehicle.
