Build date
States when the car was built. This is the date every import rule is measured from.

The chassis number.

Best documented for Skyline R31-R34, Silvia, 180SX, Stagea and Z32, roughly 1985-2002.
Limits and gaps
Not a Nissan-issued certificate. GTR Registry's own Certificate of Authenticity is self-generated rarity statistics, not a manufacturer document - do not present it to a customs officer as one.
Notes
Use it to know the truth before you buy, and use the export certificate to prove it at the border. NISMO Heritage is parts reproduction only and does not do chassis lookups.
