Who can order it
Roughly 1946 to 1985 - the cars the Geburtsurkunde does not cover.
Limits and gaps
We could not establish from any source we trust whether the card carries a completion date or only an order and despatch date.
Notes
Given that the modern Geburtsurkunde uses a despatch date, assume the Datenkarte does the same until someone shows you a real card. If you order one, we would like to see it.
